DuckDB Developer Meeting #1 splashscreen

We are excited to announce the first DuckDB Developer Meeting, organized by DuckDB Labs. The event will feature talks from DuckDB developers, and is aimed at developers who build DuckDB extensions or complex applications on top of DuckDB.

Developer Meeting

New event type. This event is slightly different from our usual meetups and conferences as it primarily focuses on DuckDB extension development and building complex applications on top of DuckDB. Therefore, the main topics of the event will be the C API, extension template, and internals.

Attendance is free but please reserve a spot on Eventbrite and keep you QR code at hand.

Events Nearby

The FOSDEM 2026 conference in Brussels is happening on the weekend after the DuckDB Developer Meeting, so you can conveniently travel there. Two railway companies operate direct services between Amsterdam and Brussels, and both train services run about once per hour on Friday evenings. However, keep an eye on news about the strike in Belgium that may affect trains on Jan 30:

  • The NS EuroCity Direct departs from Amsterdam Zuid, operates without seat reservation and is generally cheaper.
  • The Eurostar departs from Amsterdam Centraal, has seat reservation and and a slightly more premium pricing.
